Shoebox Exchange Card -- by Chanda Nelson

Hi Bloggers!

I belong to a stamp group in Santa Fe called Stamperpalz.  Last week, one of the girls suggested we do a "Shoebox Project Exchange."  Each person makes a sample card, and five kits.  You put all the supplies. kits and sample card in your shoebox (or whatever type of box you chose).  Each person takes a turn with each box and makes a card.  It was fun, and we all learned something new.  I'll be posting all the cards we made.  Today's card is one by Chanda Nelson.  Oh.....and the cards were supposed to be quick, like the cards in the Take Ten Stampington magazine.  Here's Chanda's card.  We stamped two flowers on scrapbook paper, and then stamped words on the flowers.  Ink used was Brilliance Coral, on the flower, and we used a marker for the stems.  Then Chanda showed us how to tie a very pretty ribbon along the side of the card and glue it down with glue dots.  We also taped a fold piece of the scrapbook paper inside the card for ease of writing and it looks so elegant.  I wish you could see the beautiful shimmer of the ivory metallic card stock she supplied.  And the same shimmery metallic envelope to match.  It's beautiful  Thanks, Chanda!

The ribbon has gold metallic edges....so pretty!

Thanks for visiting today.  Until next time....
