Masculine Card & ATC

Hello Friends!

Well, we have about 7-8" of new snow here, and hubby is out shoveling everyone out.  I hope wherever you are, you are warm and enjoying a cup of hot chocolate!  :o)

I'm sharing a card I made for stamp group.  Some of us trade ATC's, and one of the members prefers cards, altho I believe she's going to switch to ATC's soon.  As you can tell, I used my ATC to make the card.

The deer is a punch.  I just love deer!  The background is a chocolate card stock that I embossed and has "bare trees" on birch trees without leaves.   You can barely see the tree outlines, but they're there.  The feathers are SU dies and stamps.  I embossed the feathers with copper embossing powder from Stamp A Mania.  I'll tell you, they sell the BEST embossing powders I've ever used.  And the color range they carry is wonderful.  Check them out at:

A Tree Full of Hearts

Hi Blog Friends,

Happy weekend!  Today, I'm posting another Valentine's Day card I made, and it was designed by Karen.  Thanks, Karen!

The stamps are Stampin Up.  I think a punch was used for the hearts in the tree.  Isn't the little swing cute?   Perfect sentiment goes with this card, and it's also from Stampin Up.  The dark tan back ground paper was embossed then brayerd with a brown ink.  A banner is on top of the tan paper.  Really fast to put together, and makes a nice Valentine's Day card.

Here's a pic of the inside of the card. I need to add a sentiment next.

That's it for today.  I'll be back soon with another card.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until next time....

Five Little Hearts

Hi Blog Friends!

As you know, I've been absent for awhile.  I'm back with a few cards for Valentine's Day.  The card today is one designed by my friend Liane.  I couldn't find the original card (the one Liane originally designed), but if and when I do, I'll get it posted.  I made this one with a red background.  The original has a white background.

Super easy card to make.  Just punch out hearts using different patterned papers, and glue away.  I added a strip of glitter paper for the bottom of the card, then the sentiment.  Easy peasy.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I'll be back with another "heart" card later.  Until next time...
