MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Merry Christmas Friends!

I am so sorry that you can't see the sparkly gemstones.  It's much prettier in person than the photo shows.  The image is a House Mouse stamp.  The embossing folder is by Paper Studio.  I used Copics to color the mouse and ornament.

Wishing you and yours the Merriest Christmas, and many blessings in the New Year!

A huge thank you goes out to all of you who have signed up to follow my blog.  I appreciate it more than words can express.

Snowflake Christmas Card

Hi Friends,

Today's card was another easy peasy card to make.  The background green card stock was embossed with snowflakes.  Layered of red, white and green card stock, and white embossing powder was used for the sentiment.  Three snowflakes were added for the final touch.  The original design is by Liane.   Nice to make cards that other stampers have designed.  I have several friends who make a ton of handmade cards for Christmas.  I admire those of you who do!  This year, sadly, I have not made any Christmas cards and am very behind on all my card making period.  Oh, I did make one card, and will post that one this week.  Lots of things going on, and hopefully next year sometime, I'll get back on track with my card making.

Thanks for stopping by to visit.  I'll be back soon with two more cards before Christmas.  Until then....

A Christmas Wreath

Hi Friends,

Here's a Christmas wreath card in nice soft colors vs. the traditional red and green.  A nice effect.  The background white piece was embossed with a dot pattern, looks like snow.  The original design is by Sharalynn who was nice enough to share it.  Love the silver glitter card stock bow and background on the sentiment.  There's a little gemstone in the middle of the turquoise flower on the bow. Stamps are by Stampin Up.

Thanks for stopping by to visit.  I'll be back again with something new.  Until next time.....

A LITTLE OFF SUBJECT

Hi Friends,

This post is "a little off subject" but I wanted to share with you the gorgeous sunrise we had in Santa Fe last week.  I could see the orange coming through the shades as we had our morning coffee, so I jumped up, grabbed my cell, and went outside to try and catch it before it disappeared.  I was so pleased with the pictures I got.  It truly was a glorious sunrise.

So blessed to live in Santa Fe, New Mexico!

                          This was the first shot.....

Second shot.....

Third shot, you can see it's beginning to lighten up.

Amazing how quickly it can change, and within just a matter of seconds.  I hope you enjoy the photos.  Thanks for stopping by.  I'll be back with something new soon.

CHRISTMAS TREES

Hi Friends,

It's that time again.  Today's card is an easy one.  Two little Christmas trees in glittery card stock.  The trees are from Stampin Up, and the design is by Liane.  Love the different fold on card.  Always nice to make something different.  This one is the center step card.  Embossed red card stock on the side panels, and stars on the bottom panel and atop the red tree.  A red glitter dot on top of the green tree.  Easy peasy.

We're in for some cold weather this weekend, so stay warm!  Thanks for stopping by to visit.  I'll be back later with something new.  Until then.......

Hugs,
Geri

HOT CHILI

Hi Friends,

Here's a quick card to make with chili peppers. The chili peppers are colored with a markers, then stamped on glossy card stock.  The background was stamped with distress ink in a light color ink.  The "Hot" stamp I thought was a Stamp A Mania stamp, but I didn't find it on their website, so it may be another maker.  Last, I stamped tiny gold dots that cover the background.  Sorry, they're hard to see, but if you make the pic bigger, you can probably see them.  :o)    Layered the image with red and green card stock.  Card design is by Sharalynn.  Love making quick and easy cards.

Thanks for stopping by to visit.  I'll be back later with something new.
