Hummingbird Note Pad with Matching Pen

Hi Bloggers!

Today I'm posting a note pad and pen.  An easy peasy project.  Makes a really cool gift, and people seem to really like them.  I used a spiral notebook I bought at Staples.  The pen (at the bottom of the note pad) is an RSVP pen that you can fill by wrapping the same scrapbook paper you've used on the note pad, and place in the clear barrel of the pen.  You can just see a little of the paper in the first photo.  Then I tied a matching ribbon to the lid of the pen.  A little Hummer for the cover,  distressed the edges with a distressing tool, and used Vintage Photo distress ink on the edges.  Four gold brads in the corners, and a green ribbon is wrapped around the bottom two pieces of card stock. The same ribbon was used on the pen.  You can make note pads for any occasion or holiday.  And...be sure to use the same scrapbook paper on the back cover.

That it for today.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Until next time...
