Hi Friends,
Lydia Carroll taught a wonderful class last month. The card we were supposed to make with these flowers, well...I messed up the background, and it just was not usable. So, when I pulled the bits and pieces out at home, I didn't want the flowers to go to waste, so came up with a quick card and used them. Sorry, Lydia! The background we did in class was so nice, but alas, mine did not turn out very well. :o( I really like the way the flowers turned out with the clear embossing powder over them. It was a really fun class, and we learned several techniques from our resident Technique Queen, Lydia. Thanks, Lydia!
Here's a closeup of the embossed flowers.
Thanks for stopping by to visit today! I'll be back soon. Until next time....
I love what you did. Lydia
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lydia. I was sad when I ruined the background you taught us. :o) Didn't want the cool flowers to go to waste so had to come up with a way to use them. Thanks for the class....it was wonderful! Hugs, Geri
ReplyDeleteLove the pink/black/white combo! My stamp room colors (and blog colors!). Those flowers look great embossed, such a nice shine!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Winnie. I felt so bad when I messed up the background that Lydia taught us. But...was till able to salvage the cool embossed shiny flowers! I didn't know your stamp room was pink/black/white. So cool! Have a good weekend & thanks for visiting. Hugs, Geri
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have let those pretties go to waste either Geri. Wonderful re-purpose and a lovely layout. The embossed dots are a very nice addition. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks, tracy. Had to use the pretty flowers on a card. Thanks for stopping by to visit. Hope you're having a good weekend! Hugs, Geri
