Chili and Leather

Hi Friends,

A quick post today.  The chili stamp is from Stamp A Mania art rubber stamps.  Here's their website:

www.stampamania.com

Chili is perfect for fall weather when it's starting to get a little chilly....pun intended.  lol
The chili is the magazine embossing technique.  If you have questions on the magazine embossing, please ask.

On the brown background, I wanted it to look like leather.  I've been doing some of those backgrounds for awhile, and really like they way they look.  The embossing folder is by Cuttlebug, and I used Walnut Stain Distress ink over the raised part of the embossing.  Added brads to the corners, and all done.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Oops...photo is a little off center.

Until next time......

  4. Hi Darla, The owner of Stamp A Mania...Cynthia Stansell taught a class on how to make the "leather look" with card stock. It was the best class ever! Cynthia is such a wonderful teacher, and her method is so easy to understand and you end up with some awesome projects. Of course, the stamp is a Stamp A Mania (SAM) chile. Hugs, Geri

  5. Hi Daria, I couldn't find the Two Birds and Berries blog post, so am answering your question on the rooster posting. The Two Birds with Berries stamp that you asked about....I found the stamp and here's what it says on one end: Creative Impressions, Colorado Springs CO (719) 577-4858. I must have stopped at a stamp store there years and years ago, so who knows if they're even still in business. So many stamp stores have closed. Geri
