A Tree Full of Hearts

Hi Blog Friends,

Happy weekend!  Today, I'm posting another Valentine's Day card I made, and it was designed by Karen.  Thanks, Karen!

The stamps are Stampin Up.  I think a punch was used for the hearts in the tree.  Isn't the little swing cute?   Perfect sentiment goes with this card, and it's also from Stampin Up.  The dark tan back ground paper was embossed then brayerd with a brown ink.  A banner is on top of the tan paper.  Really fast to put together, and makes a nice Valentine's Day card.

Here's a pic of the inside of the card. I need to add a sentiment next.

That's it for today.  I'll be back soon with another card.  Thanks for stopping by.  Until next time....

Five Little Hearts

Hi Blog Friends!

As you know, I've been absent for awhile.  I'm back with a few cards for Valentine's Day.  The card today is one designed by my friend Liane.  I couldn't find the original card (the one Liane originally designed), but if and when I do, I'll get it posted.  I made this one with a red background.  The original has a white background.

Super easy card to make.  Just punch out hearts using different patterned papers, and glue away.  I added a strip of glitter paper for the bottom of the card, then the sentiment.  Easy peasy.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I'll be back with another "heart" card later.  Until next time...

It's Always Chili Time in New Mexico

Hi Blog Friends,

As we all know, life takes its twists and turns.  I've been so busy lately, I haven't been blogging.  Thought I'd better write and post a card.  My posts will be on the slim side for awhile.  Sometimes bloggers need a break, and I guess it's my turn.  Here's a card I did awhile back, and maybe even posted it way back.  It's one of my fave's.  The stamps are by the wonderful Stamp A Mania Rubber Stamp Company.  My favorite stamp folks for sure.  The stamp is Chili Border SF6496-K.  I used some Stamp A Mania embossing powder, and I think the color is Midnight Turquoise.  Mark, if you read this and it's another color, will you leave a comment and give us the correct color?  :o)

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and a good New Year's Eve.  Ours was quiet on both ends, so it was nice.

Happy New Year!  I'll be back when I can.  Until then......

Off to take care of a bunch of errands.  Whew.....it's a busy time!  Stay warm, and I'll be back before Christmas!  Hugs, Geri

Penny Black's Christmas Birdies

Hi Friends,

Here's another Penny Black Christmas card.  Can you tell I'm loving the Penny Black images?  lol  Sweet little birds sitting on holly branch.

Added the "Merry" die cut word, and on the  bottom of the card, I punched out two green branches and a snowflake with my Martha punches.  Added a gemstone to the center of the snowflake and it's done.  Quick and easy card.

Hope you're all staying warm.  It's getting a little colder here.  Won't be long before we get snow again.

Penny Black Bird on Holly Branch

Hi Friends,

Whoa....where are the days going?  I've been really busy so have not been blogging.  Thought I'd better post a card before I turn around and it's the weekend!  lol   Here's another Penny Black image on a Christmas card.  Love those Penny Black images.  Pretty simple card, using different layers of card stock and ribbon.  Sometimes ya just gotta make a quick card, and this is one.  Hard to see in the pic, but there's a tiny diamond gemstone in the center of the snowflake.

Thanks for stopping by today.  It's going to be very busy until after the holidays, so know that I do appreciate your visits!  Until next time.
