Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Paddy's Day Blog Friends!

I dug deep into my card box and found this card that I made awhile ago.  Ran out of time to try and make something today as I was working on an Asian swap that is due on Thursday.  These little guys are pretty cute and one of them just happens to be Irish!  Or so he's telling his little blue sweetie he is.

Corned beef is ready for the crock pot in the morning, cabbage too.  Wishing you all a great day, and don't forget to wear some green or you might get pinched.  ;o)   If you're having a hard time reading the words, click on the picture to make it bigger.

Thanks for visiting today.  Until next time....

Tick Tock ATC made into a greeting Card

Happy Weekend Bloggers!

I'm finally getting back to normal after a whirlwind weekend of stamp convention in Albuquerque.  Oh my gosh, I haven't worked that hard in a long time.  It was a lot of work, and DH (dear hubby) worked the three days as well.  We helped set up, two days of the show and demoing, DH helping customers and re-stocking, and then taking it all down and packing it up the last day.  I was happy to come home and take a couple of much needed Epson salts baths!  My old muscles were so sore.  Lol

Anyway, today's card is an ATC that I made into a greeting card.  Our stamp group made the Tick Tock themed ATC's in January.  I embossed the green card stock and brushed gold ink over the top.  I also embossed the ATC background with the same embossing folder and colored it with distress inks.  Die cut the black clock numerals and cut the die cut into quarters, using only on the top right-hand corner.  The black paper with the gold clocks on it is from Graphic 45.  I'll list supplies at the bottom of post.

I used Copic markers on the little gold clock and Stickles on the wings.

A Thank You card by Liane

Hi Blog Friends,

Toay's post is a lovely card I received from my friend Liane who is a wonderful card and book artist.  Liane makes the most wonderful Star Books, and I've been fortunate enough to have taken two of her books classes in Albuquerque.  I'm ready for another one.....anything on the horizon, Liane?  ;o)

This stamp is by Impression Obsession.  Don't they make some beautiful scene stamps?  The cardinals are colored in a deep red, and 3 rhinestones were added to the torn card stock bottom.  The grey background base is embossed.  Liane die cut the "thanks" piece.  A really pretty card.  Thanks, Liane!

Thanks for stopping by today.  It was great seeing you all who made it to stamp convention.  It was a whirlwind of setting up, two days of the show, and then taking it all down and packing it up again.  I was so sore yesterday I took a long bath with Epson salt.  Maybe I'm getting too old to do this!  Had fun tho and really enjoyed seeing friends and meeting a bunch of new people.  Until next time...

A Little Seascape

Hi Blog Friends,

Quick post today.  Stamp A Mania came out with a seascape set.  I made a quick card yesterday with three of the stamps, although there are many more stamps in the set.  I tore blue and kraft colored card stock, stamped images in dark brown chalk inks, and added an organza blue ribbon the side.  I stamped "Thank You" in the same dark brown ink, cut it in a circle, and added a little blue bling the the T and Y.  Distressed the edges of the circle with Vintage Photo distress ink.

Here's a closeup of the bling on the T and Y   ;o)

That's all for today.  I'll post my last Stamp A Mania card for this week tomorrow night that will show up on Friday.  Thanks for dropping by today.  Until next time...

The Beautiful Stamp A Mania Peacock Feather

Hello Bloggers!

Today I'm happy to post my favorite Peacock Feather, and it's from Stamp A Mania (SAM).  Don't you just love this one?  They have some of the best feather stamps out there.  It's fun to color and makes a quick card for almost any occasion.  Copics used for coloring.  I used the SAM "Happy Birthday Script" on this card.  I really love their line of script words...so elegant.  Base is a metallic green card stock, then I added an embossed turquoise panel, then the main image.  A little bling on the "i" in Birthday....and all done.  Supplies at bottom of post.  SAM will be at convention this weekend, and also have an online store at www.stampamania.com

Mimbres Angel

Hi Bloggers,

This stamp from Stamp A Mania (SAM) is Mimbres Angel.  I stamped her on black card stock, cut her out, and used Pebbles  chalks on her lovely little wings.  By the way, Stamp A Mania is bringing brand new soft chalks to convention next weekend in Albuquerque.  Gorgeous palettes of soft chalks called "Pebbles."  Love that name.  Plus, included in all sets is an alligator clip on a slender wood handle.  Also in the kit are 3 different sizes of little pompoms for each palette color.  There are different color palettes to chose from, or get them all.  You'll really like the way these chalk palettes are encased in a metal case with clear window lid.  You can also use blender pens with the chalks.  So versatile.  Supplies listed at the bottom of post.  Making this quick....Oscar's on TV!  Have a great week, and I hope to see you local stampers at convention.   ;o)   You've probably figured out I'll be showcasing Stamp A Mania stamps for the next few posts.  SAM will have their big ole booth set up, so please stop by and take a look at all the new products and stamps!
