A Mary Engelbreit Scottie

Hello Friends,

 Happy weekend!  Today's post is a stamp I found at Michael's.  We adopted two Scottish Terriers a few years back from the NM Scottie Rescue association.  We were looking for ONE Scottie.  When we got the call, they told us about one, then before the conversation ended, said "oh by the way, they come as a pair"..... I said "oh I'm sorry, we just want one dog."  Well, following another 30 minute conversation, I asked if the Scotties could do a sleep over.  Big mistake!  Yes, we adopted both Scotties!  Lol   We love dogs, and we were blessed with Molly and Fraiser for several years.  They were 7 & 8 when we rescued them.  Or maybe they rescued us!  

 Found this sweet little guy, and had to have him.  He's little, so quick coloring.  Loved the sweet little butterfly he's looking at.  I like the way it turned out using black and white, and just a touch of pink on the  butterfly wings.

    Soooo adorable! What a good heart you have! Glad you guys have the dogs,and they have you! Good for everyone! My late cat was rescued from a trash can! She was the sweetest thing! Someone will love receiving your card.

      Thanks, Winnie. Yes, we loved Molly and Fraiser very much while we were lucky enough to have them. Our friends tell us all the time that somehow doggies find us. We've had lost dogs walk into our garage and want to stay! One stray cat, and one day we found a domesticated ferret in our back yard, so maybe it's true! Love critters. Hugs, Geri
