Bee Seeing You.......

Happy Weekend Blog Friends!

Tomorrow is Easter, although you probably won't get this notice in your email until Sunday anyway, as there is about a 24 lag time on Blogger notices.  Today I'm sharing a card I received from my sweet friend Liane Ceglar.  Thanks, Liane!  No special occasion.....and I always love getting happy mail for no special reason.  That type of mail always seems to arrive at just the right time.

The embossing folder is from SU, and I love the honeycomb!  I don't know who makes the "Bee Seeing You" sentiment, but it's perfect for this card.  The little embellishments and brad fit just perfectly as well.

Wishing you all a Happy Easter!

Make and Take Card

Hi Blog Friends,

Today I'm sharing a card I made at stamp convention in the Paper Cut booth.  It was one of their make and take cards.  There was another card I wanted to make, but they stopped making those before I got to sit down an play.  Oh well, this one was a fun one to make.  It's gray card stock (cs), which I rarely use, but really like the way it turned out.  A big flourish stamp was used to stamp the sides of the gray cs and the white cs on the front.  I think this is called "side step" card.  The butterflies are stickers with foam tape.  The "Thinking of You" punched out pieces were pre-punched (I'm sure to save time at the make and take table), so I don't know what punches they used.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting!

A Thank you Tag by Patty Field

Hi Blog Friends,

Hubby received this cool "Thank You Tag" from our neighbor Patty Field.  He took care of their house while they were in Arizona.  Patty used a metal charm tied to the raffia, and cut out the bird with flowers and leaves....it looks like a miniature collage piece.  I don't recognize the stamps she used, but it's a very nice tag.  Randy sure liked it.  Nice job, Patty!

I'll be back soon with more to share.  Thanks for dropping by today.

Spot the Dog

Hello Blog Friends,

Although you may not see this post till tomorrow, I'm writing today March 17, so.... Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Our son's name is Patrick, so every St. Patrick's Day, we'd have green French toast for breakfast!  It doesn't sound good, but it really was.  :o)

Somehow I managed to delete my folder of new cards.  Argh......  I'm waiting for hubby to get home so that he can, hopefully, retrieve my lost folder.  He's teaching all weekend at Game & Fish, so it won't be till tomorrow.  I have no idea how I deleted it, but leave it to me to do that. <groan>

I'm sharing a card I made a while back to give the kids after their home was broken into.  We wanted to cheer them up, so made a quick silly card with a check inside to help them in replacing some of their things that were stolen .  I think the stamp is one of the old Stampa Barbara stamps.  Love those stamps.

I'll be back soon with another card as soon as my folder comes out the black hole.

Until next time.....    thanks for stopping by today.

Chalk Board Chili

Happy Weekend Blog Friends,

Today I'm sharing a card I made for SAM and delivered to them at convention.  It's the "chalk board" technique.  Super easy and fun.

Here's my version using the chili stamp from SAM.

Have a great weekend, and enjoy our New Mexico spring weather.  Thanks for stopping by today.

A Little Birdie............

Hello Blog Friends!

We survived stamp convention this last weekend.  Our Santa Fe ATC group was there, and it was good to see them.  It was really fun to be there since it had been five years since I'd made it down to Albuquerque for convention.  Saw lots and lots of friends I hadn't seen in a very long time....Ellen Taylor was a total surprise!  So happy to get to sit and visit with Ellen.  Such a talented woman. Met lots of new people, did a couple of make and takes, and just had lots of fun.

Today I'm sharing a birthday card.  Love the little birdie.  I bought the stamp at Guadalupe's Fun Rubber stamp store, here in Santa Fe.  They have an awesome selection of stamps, and as some of  you may or may not know, they're in a new location....downstairs!  Bigger store, more stamps and supplies, and they have two employees who we just love, Lea D, and Deb.  Store owner (Guadalupe's)  Lee K, was at convention working in the Stamp A Mania (SAM) booth.  Lots of action in that booth all day, and the new stamps that SAM introduced were a hit.  Convention goers were busy coloring the new images at their make and take table.

This little guy was colored with Copics.  Isn't he adorable?  Love birdies.  That's it for today.  I'll be back soon.  Thanks for dropping by today.

A masculine card by Sara Hotchkiss

Hello Blog Friends,

Today I'm sharing a card by Sara Hotchkiss, my neighbor.  Sara is one of the sweetest people you could ever meet.  Always willing to help anyone.  She has such a good heart, I wanted to put her card on the blog. Sara sent me this pic of cards she's made for all the male friends/relatives she will be sending cards to.

Sara, you did a great job!

Very masculine colors and nice layout.  Thanks, Sara, for sharing your creativity!
