HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Happy Halloween Friends!

Are you ready for all the little ghosts and goblins?  We've got our candy ready, although we sure don't get as many kids as in years past.  Hubby doesn't mind...more leftover chocolates for him!

Today's card is a stamp by Art Impressions.  Love those crazy ladies.  This one is adorable in her spider outfit.  Fun to color and embellish.  Copics used for coloring.  On the purple embossed card stock, I embossed the candy corn with a Cuttlebug folder.  The spider web orange paper is from my paper stash.  The tiny bats are punched with a Martha Stewart punch.  I used Stickles on her pumpkin and on her collar.

Happy and Safe Halloween to you and yours!

Thanks for stopping by to visit.  I'll be back later with a new card.  Until next time.....

Happy Little Ghosts

Happy Weekend Friends!

A simple little card with 3 happy ghosts.

Are you getting in the Halloween mood?  It's fast approaching.  Lots of Halloween stamps waiting to be inked in my house.....just not enough time.
Anyway, here's this weekend's card.  Quick and easy.  Thanks to Sharalynn for sharing her design and a fun card to make!

I hope you're enjoying the cool weather.  Me, not so much....not ready for cold weather.  Hubby is loving it.  :o)   Have a wonderful weekend.
 Hugs, Geri

A Card for Bärbel in Germany

Hi Friends,

Can you believe that we're half way through October?  Time is flying.

Today's card share is one I made for Bärbel in Germany.  She's been in the hospital, and I wanted to send her some USA/New Mexico cheer.  I used a Kaliedacolor ink pad to stamp the bold flowers.  Placed gemstones in the center of the flowers and added a ribbon at the bottom.  The background is embossed white card stock.  I like making cards with lots of white showing.

I hope she likes her card and that it brings her some cheer.

Thanks for stopping by.  I'll be back later.  Until next time.....

A Little Paper Bag

Hi Friends,

This is a little paper sack......with a card slipped inside.  But, I forgot to photograph the card inside.  Oppsie!  I'm sure you can picture a piece of card stock in two colors that was inside the little sack with  "Happy Birthday" stamped on it.  The picture doesn't really show how cute this is.  Sorry about that.  The "enjoy" was a die cut in the turquoise little banner piece.  You can see the contrasting patterned paper peeking out behind the embellishments.  Fun to make something besides a card for someone's birthday.  These little sacks are perfect for slipping in a gift card.

We've had a whirlwind two weeks here at home.  Making me dizzy!  I hope things slow down a little....and soon!  :o)   Thanks for stopping by to visit.  I'll be back later with something new.  Until next time.......

GLITTER IN GIRLS VEINS

Happy Weekend Friends,

I love glitter, glitz, bling and whatever sparkles.  I'm really disappointed that you cannot see the glitter card stock behind the die cut with all the holes.  It's a crystal glitterly card stock.  The white piece is also glittered, as is the silver card stock behind the sentiment.  If any of you know the secret for capturing the sparkle of glittered card stock in a photograph, please share it with me.  :o)

Don't you love the sentiment "Some girls were born with Glitter in their veins".....so cute.  The "holey" die is by Spellbinders.

Just figured out a way you can see the glitter.  Click on the card to enlarge it, and you'll be able to see the sparkle!  Yay......

Thanks for stopping by to visit.  Have a good weekend, and I'll be back later with something new.  Until next time......

Happy Anniversary Pat & Yvette!

Hi Friends!

Thought I'd post a card I made for our kids' anniversary.  They love things that are different & quirky, so I thought this would fit the bill.  I fell in love with the two little monsters when I saw the stamp and sentiment.  lol

Our daughter-in-law's favorite color is pink, so of course, the little image had to be colored in pink.  I added a pink gemstone to her belly button for some bling.  :o)

Colored with Copics, and layered with black and metallic blue card stock.

As luck sometimes works.....I thought it would be fun to share hubby's photos of the lunar eclipse along with the little monsters from outer space.

Heres's the beginning of the eclipse.

Almost half way through the eclipse.

This one is my favorite shot.  Very tiny, but you can "click" on the photo to see a bigger shot.  Awesome!

By the way....they loved their card.  Those two have a great sense of humor.  Thanks for stopping by to visit.  I'll be back later.  Until next time.....

Cheesey Happy Birthday Card

Happy Weekend Blog Friends!

Posting a quick birthday card today.  The stamp is by Stampin Up.  Colored with Copics.  I used two different colors of yellow card stock, and punched cheese holes in the top piece.  In case you can't read the tiny script, it reads:

Age is something that doesn't count unless you're a cheese!  :o)

Thanks for stopping by to visit today.

Have a good weekend.  Until next time.....
